Le pronostic Canalturf.com
Sixteen senior trotters, spread over three starting levels, met at the start of thefifth stage of the Grand National du Trot, this Wednesday, at Croisé-laroche. First observation: The plateau is raised. To be convinced of this, it suffices to underline the presence ofHARLEM DE BUCY (photo)and ofHIP HOP HAUFOR, respectively posted 2nd in the Prix de Paris (Gr.I) and fourth in the Prix d'Amérique (Gr.I), this winter at Vincennes.
8 BUCY'S HARLEM: A hard-working trotter, this 6-year-old trained byChristophe Écalardhas never finished further than 2nd in his last eight races. He notably finished 2nd in the Prix de Paris (Gr.I), at the end of February. Winner at Vincennes at the start of the month, he is back on the Grand National du Trot circuit here with very solid ambitions. First chance.
11 HIP HOP HAUFOR: This son ofUp and Quickis one of the best in France. This is evidenced in particular by his 4th place recorded in the last Prix d'Amérique, at the end of January. To be credited with a pleasant end to the race, for his comeback, in the stage of Saint-Brieuc, where he was shod, he looks formidable.
15 HAPPY VALLEY: Her music speaks for itself. It has indeed 22 podiums in 32 races run. In addition, it has one victory and five places in eleven disputed straights. Quickly at fault in the recent Prix des Ducs de Normandie (Gr.II), in Caen, she finds here a great opportunity to restore her image.
12 GOELAND D'HAUFOR: He enters this competition in full possession of his faculties. The proof: He finished 3rd in a fifth, last month, at Vincennes, before winning the Prix du Rouergue, ahead of the gifted Oracle Tile. So many results that give him a good part to play here.
9 GASPAR D'ANGIS: He is the current leader of this Grand National du Trot. He thus won the stages of Marseille-Borély and Lyon-Parilly, before finishing third in that of Saint-Brieuc, last month. He arrives at the start of this new round with the firm intention of scoring new points.
5 GAMIN JABA: After several unsuccessful outings, he was once again talked about by supplying the winner of the quinté Prix Léo, recently at Vincennes. Even if it faces stiffer opposition this time, it retains its say, at least to obtain a good place. We keep.
6 GAIA D'OCCAGNES: Admittedly, his return under the saddle resulted in a disqualification, recently in Caen. However, it recommends two victories and as many places among the first four, in seven straight races. She seems barred here for success but an accessit is in her strings.
2 FESTIVAL OF BELVER: Long kept out of competition, from August 2022 to April 2023, it comes to show a renewed condition, ranking 3rd on May 13 in Caen and this for its third outing of the year. Gifted, well situated at the first echelon, in the ascending phase, she can come to confuse the issue.
In case of non-runner: 7 GAMBLE RIVER

HIP HOP HAUFOR enters the dance...
The yellow jerseyGaspar d'Angisgoing to have to pull out all the stops in this "Flemish stage of this G.N.T 2023", because some 6 year olds of great talent will be lined up at the start... Indeed, Christian Bigeon has assembled a nice truck for this challenge placement in the Far North, offering a nice gift to passionate northerners by presenting its championHip Hop Hauforat the start, which had been the great unfortunate of America, and made this "Ze5-Event"his first spring goal...
Happy Valley, who misses her start to the year, because she has experienced health problems, is gaining momentum, and after a miss in Normandy, her entourage will make the dice placement in the suburbs of Lille with the "knife between the teeth" (Yucca arrows 2020), like the tirelessHarlem de Bussy, who had made an impression at the end of winter in the Prix de Paris, but could be the right back to take, like at Parilly last April. Speaking of "little tough",Galba Ringeatmay not be of the ilk of the aforementioned horses, but in the lead, his outfit could help him keep a place in the "Ze5gagnant", whileGoéland d'Haufor, completely found and well put in the hand of Damien Bonne, will be a "joker of luxury" for his team.
Of course, trotters likeGamble River, courageous in the Prix de Combrée, andGamin Strong, boosted in the Prix Léo, are attacking strongly in this Group III, but well located at the first post, a runner-up remains within their reach.

Le pronostic Genybet.fr
The Grand National du Trot caravan stops at the Croisé-Laroche racecourse this Wednesday with a high-level stage which brought together 16 runners and which supports the Quinté+ (Top 5 on genybet .Fr). We find a high-class trotter who keeps repeating his best value lately:Bucy's Harlem (8). This representative of Christophe Ecalard's training has been in the game for several months and should enjoy the Crusader track. He will be preferred to the one who beat him to Parilly,Gaspar d'Angis (9). Presented by Jean-Michel Baudouin, he has regained some freshness after his third place in Saint-Brieuc and can strike a blow if he manages to benefit from a good course of the race. It's a logical chance on paper.Happy Valley (15)is a class mare and benefits from a good entry, just likeHip Hop Haufor (11), seen at a much higher level this winter on the Parisian cinders.Goéland d'Haufor (12)remains on a very fine success and will try to confirm, a place in the top five is well within reach if all goes well.Gamin Jaba (5) Free Mp3 Downloadis also in great shape and seems to hold the best chance of the first echelon, even ifGalba Ringeat (3)will start with the confidence of Romain Derieux, he can spice up the relationship.Gaia d'Occagnes (6)does not really have a margin at this level of the competition but it can take a fourth or fifth place if the favorites were to disappoint. It can be considered in an extended combination.
